In Your Hands – Unspoken

This is the first song I ever heard by Unspoken.  It truly touched me as I’m always going through something whether big or small.  These “things” keep me running to Jesus.

Lay ’em at the feet of the throne…leave ’em in His hands.

Start A Fire – Unspoken

I believe this was the second song I ever heard by Unspoken.  I love their style of music; it gets me pumped, even the ballads.

Feeling Encouraged!

Boy, it’s been quite some time since I’ve shared anything on this blog. I’ve been dealing with another one of life’s challenges, which takes up most of my time and is the reason I have not posted anything. I’ve wanted to share things, especially what God has been doing in my life and tell the world how faithful God has been through it all. There have been many times I have wanted to post, but didn’t for whatever reason. I always want to brag about the things that God does for me, so I’ll try to be more diligent about sharing those things on this blog. After all, that is one of the main reasons that I created this blog in the first place.

With that being said, I have to brag about the numerous times that God has encouraged me today.  I honestly lost count of how many times God saw fit to encourage me today. I was encouraged more than once at church today.  Then, at the Elks club, I was welcomed, blessed and encouraged some more. I did not attend the regular dance on Friday night for the last 2 weeks and it appears a few people missed me.  I have to admit, it is truly a wonderful feeling to be missed.    🙂

Let me encourage you to never lose faith or hope in Jesus Christ!  No matter what you may be going through, Jesus is always there going through it with you because He will never leave you nor forsake you.

I was listening to worship music on Spotify today on my drive home from the afternoon dance at the Elks today and one of my favorite songs came on and I’m reminded of these lyrics:  your love never fails, never gives up, never runs out on me.  I remember going through another rough time a few years ago and I listened to this song over and over for about 30 minutes straight.  I will share it in a separate post to hopefully encourage someone else.

I will end with this:  James 4:8  Come near to God and he will come near to you.
